In this episode we caught up Matt Meyer. Matt graciously invited us to Temple where we were able to see him open for DVBBS. With his busy gig schedule on top of his regular grind we didn’t catch up with him until a few weeks later on a Sunday. After pre-gaming w/ chicken bakes we settled in and talked about his start in DJing, how he came to have various residencies at some of the most popular clubs in the city, and how he would go about DJing the last party on Earth. PLUR GATHERING EP. 003 – MICHAEL LIU

In this episode, we continue our exploration into Psy-Trance with Michael Liu. I recall seeing Michael play at a party at Kelly’s Mission Rock about 10 years ago. I can’t quite recall the name. I believe is was Tronic or something like that, lol. I bring it up to highlight that Michael has been around for some and has been consistently promoting Psy-Trance in the SF Bay and surrounding communities. It’s truly a pleasure to have someone like him on the podcast.

PLUR GATHERING EP. 001 – JOHN BEAVER & DURTY

I managed to catch John Beaver & Durty while on their Coachella Mix CD Tour at So Stoked: Summer Of Love. This is the VERY FIRST EPISODE of PLUR Gathering and I recorded the audio using the Anchor app on my phone. I have to say that for a phone recording the quality is pretty good, but please pardon any audio spikes or volume issues. As always, John and Durty delivered a high-energy set that pulled the dance floor in and got everyone ready headliners for the party. We also have special treat because the duo also premiered their latest track, A Good Night Sleep. A special thanks to John, for participating in the very first recorded episode of this show!
